Diana Masny is emerita professor at the University of Ottawa, Canada and adjunct professor at Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Inspired by a Deleuze-Guattari perspective, she specializes in developing Multiple Literacies Theory (human, animal and vegetal reading of the world and self) in addition to rhizoanalysis.
These developments are constantly transforming in a micro political assemblage/ setting in which they interact. These settings include minority language education, childhood, teacher education, immigration, citizenship and globalism in a digitalized world.
She has taken up several administrative positions within the Faculty of Education (Ottawa). She has received research grants from Social sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and has been a visiting professor in Australia and Sweden.
