Matthew Cormier

Matthew Cormier is a bilingual Acadian scholar from New Brunswick. He has a BA in Études françaises (2013) and a MA in Canadian Comparative Literature (2016) from the University of Moncton. He continued his work at the University of Alberta, where he completed his PhD in English (2020). His dissertation became the basis for his first monograph, Sieve Reading Beyond the Minor (forthcoming University of Ottawa Press).

He is a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow (2021-23) in the Department of English at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
