Yolande Bastarache

A native of New Brunswick, Yolande Bastarache (1947-2019) studied biology, history, and French literature at the Université de Moncton and the Université de Nice. She dedicated a large part of her life to caring for her two severely ill children. A bibliophile, she also travelled extensively with her partner of over 50 years, retired Supreme Court of Canada justice Michel Bastarache.
